Batelco collaborates with London Business School to prepare future leaders of Young Bahrainis

Batelco has partnered with the internationally recognized London Business School (LBS), to provide a tailored, first-of its kind executive talent program in Bahrain, which will allow a group of Batelco’s aspiring young talents developed for senior roles within the organization. The partnership marks the first time that the London Business School has created an executive talent program to develop the next generation of leaders for the telecom industry in Bahrain.

The two-phased program consists of 6-months of training, covering six modules to develop strategic leadership skills, by attending virtual training sessions with renowned members of the LBS faculty. The participants will later also go to the LBS campus in London, where they will have the opportunity to put the learnings from their training into action through engaging discussions and a final project. The Batelco participants will also be making site visits to technology leaders in the United Kingdom to learn from their experiences and success stories.

Batelco launches leadership development program in collaboration with Cornell University

Batelco has partnered with eCornell, Cornell University’s professional education unit, to develop a group of Batelco’s high potential team members for senior roles within the organization through a tailored, leadership program. This is the first partnership of its kind for Cornell in Bahrain. Cornell University is an internationally renowned American Ivy League establishment, ranked 22 among over 1,600 global universities by The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022.

The 4-month program will include extensive training through Cornell’s executive program and cover three modules designed to enhance digital transformation knowledge, problem solving skills and entrepreneurial thinking as part of shaping the mindset for today’s digital environment. Participants will attend virtual training sessions with acclaimed authors and members of Cornell University’s faculty. To conclude the programme participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with global experts in affiliated companies.
