Job Objective
The role is responsible to manage the deployment and maintenance of applications so as to contribute to the growth of the organization by effectively managing IT operations team and ensuring a seamless transition of business requirements to the systems and solutions
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic
• Assist the Head IT Operations in preparing the strategy and the strategic initiatives for the sub-function aligned to the Functional Strategy
• Monitor, track and report performance against strategic initiatives
Financial
• Assist the Head IT Operations in preparing the budget for the sub-function
• Monitor and track adherence to the approved budget and highlight deviations
Operational
• Manage the iimplementation of data and content administration as per business requirement
• Develop and execute life cycle plan for creation revision and testing of IT services and solutions
• Allocate resources for projects efficiently in collaboration with department head
• Monitor testing, evaluation, and implementation of information security, and privacy and data protection controls
• De?ne sources and destinations of content data and manage its technical interfaces
• Implement project plans for particular IT projects including rough timetables, project budgets and ensure adherence to the same
• Train services and solutions resources and subordinates
• Monitor adherence to procedures and controls at each process, such that all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost effective service to internal customers
• Validate information provided to address employee queries related to functional area
• Actively provide required information to internal and external auditors within stipulated timelines. Coordinate with and resolve any audit related issues raised
• Serve as a subject matter expert in own work area / sub-function / function and provide guidance to team / peers and support in the achievement of operational targets
• Undertake initiatives to improve processes in assigned area of work
• Guide team / peers in meeting delivery timelines and performance expectations
Ensure that team / peers adhere to company policies and legal regulations
People
• Identify training needs and nominate team members for training programs
• Ensure timely completion of PMR process for self and the team
• Continuously share the knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry and business trends
• Ensure active participation in employee engagement surveys
• Motivate and build a healthy work environment within the team. Provide support in resolving work related / other concerns in an effective manner

Profile 1
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related fields
• 3-5 years’ experience in related domain
• 1-2 years’ experience of directly managing teams, development and implementation of business application systems
• Knowledge of relevant programming languages would be an added advantage
• Membership of a relevant, and internationally recognized, professionally body.
Master’s degree in information technology or related fields
• 2-4 years’ experience in related domain
• 1-2 years’ experience of directly managing teams, development and implementation of business application systems
• Knowledge of relevant programming languages would be an added advantage Membership of a relevant, and internationally recognized, professionally body.
The requested resource should have the below requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware (SOA) /OSB
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with the following Enterprise Middle-wares (Oracle Service Bus (OSB), IBM Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) etc)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Integration, API’s definition and publishing and Web services
