Job objectives
Contribute to Batelco’s revenue and profit growth by driving end-to-end design, development and management of Products & Services, ensuring success and competitiveness of Batelco portfolio in the market
Job responsibilities
- Work closely with the Director Products to prepare strategic initiatives aligned to the Organization Strategy
- Monitor performance against strategic initiatives
- Develop strategy and goals for products and service and ensure alignment with the overall organization strategy
- Work closely with the Director Products to prepare Capex and Opex budget for Product Development and management
- Monitor adherence to the Product Development and management budget
- Work closely with Consumer to develop annual business plan
- Develop and manage products for Enterprise customers and Consumers to meet Business plan and revenue targets
- Liaise with the Business Units and prepare sales targets to achieve revenue and growth targets defined for the organization
- Analyse the Business Cases for new products and services, prioritize and select the product concepts based on business strategy
- Secure necessary fund approvals for recommended projects
- Ensure development of products & services that satisfy the needs of Business Customers and Consumer, meet profit targets & budgetary objectives in a competitive market place
- Design the key performance indicators for product and service to measure success
- Monitor the end to end Product and Service development process, starting from idea generation, concept development, design, delivery and launch execution
- Participate in negotiation of terms and conditions with Vendors in case of critical and complex deals
- Meticulously review existing vendor contracts and provide inputs for renewal
- Develop in-depth understand of any new regulations in telecom sector, assess the impact on Business, develop and share point of view with Business Units
- Prepare documents for responding to any queries received from regulatory bodies
- Identify training needs and nominate team members for training programs
- Ensure timely completion of PMR process for self and the team
- Continuously share the knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry and business trends
- Ensure active participation in employee engagement surveys
Qualifications
- Bachelors’ in Business Studies or Marketing
- 8 to 16 years’ experience in telecoms network, product development or marketing
- Experience in developing Business cases, Project Management
