Job Description
Job Objective:
Develop creative ideas and concepts to suit Batelco’s business objectives and primarily serving as the essential internal design resource for Batelco creating brand collateral and digital UI/UX mockups for use across the business.
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic:
• Identify strategic initiatives for the sub-function and contribute to the overall strategic initiatives for the Marketing and corporate communications function, aligned to the Organization Strategy
• Drive the strategic initiatives for the sub-function. Monitor performance against the set KPIs
Financial:
• Prepare and monitor adherence to the budget for the sub-function. Analyse deviations and take corrective course of action
• Strive to continually optimise the marketing cost as per strategic imperatives
Operational:
• Monitor visual identity creation and development. Review brand visual guidelines (internal, external) and oversee regular updates to visual assets.
• Supervise support provided to internal stakeholders on artworks and review of work products / deliverables that meet briefed requirements.
• Plan, create and produce artworks for use in internal and external brand campaigns.
• Create and produce visual brand collateral (Physical and Digital) for use within the business
• Seek ways to enhance Batelco’s Digital user experience and presence (Both in app and on social platforms).
• Conceptualizing short animations for our social media platforms.
• Use prototyping and mock-ups to communicate new inspiring brand experiences.
• Manage logistics, coordination, execution and deadlines for items requiring production.
• Engage UI/UX best practices to create best in class digital experiences.
• Work Closely with, communicate and present creative with all key stakeholders and counterparts.
• Attend meetings and track next steps/follow ups for projects.
• Develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports.
• Ensure that the delivered products or services adhere to the policies and standards of the company.
• Research and Maintain knowledge of the latest developments and technology in graphic design and printing to ensure the company’s designs are current and relevant.
People:
• Identify training needs and nominate team members for training programs
• Ensure timely completion of PMR process for self and the team
• Continuously share the knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry and business trends
• Ensure active participation in employee engagement surveys
• Train and mentor junior designers and entry-level entrants
Skills Description
Profile 1:
BA/BS Bachelor's degree in Design or Multimedia creation from an internationally recognized University.
• 1-2 years experience in the Advertising/Media and marketing industry.
Membership of a relevant, and internationally recognized, professionally body
Profile 2:
Master’s degree in Design or Multimedia creation from an internationally recognized University.
• 0-1 years of experience in the Advertising/Media and marketing industry.
Membership of a relevant, and internationally recognized, professionally body
