Batelco Graduate Trainee Program
Batelco believes in investing in the Kingdoms youth and plays an active role in developing future leaders and to support future skills needs and to encourage nationals to pursue a career in the telecommunications field. The Company has continued with its long established Graduate Trainee program to develop the skills and knowledge of the younger generation. What makes this program unique is that it allow the graduates to performs real tasks as it is included in their performance under the supervision of experienced specialists in Batelco. This program has been historically there for the past 30 years, achieving successful career records of many executives in Bahrain across different sectors who once started their journey as Graduate Trainees.
Development Opportunities
Batelco has partnered with the internationally recognized London Business School (LBS), to provide a tailored, first-of its kind executive talent program in Bahrain, which will allow a group of Batelco’s aspiring young talents developed for senior roles within the organization. The partnership marks the first time that the London Business School has created an executive talent program to develop the next generation of leaders for the telecom industry in Bahrain.
Celebrating Team Members Achievements
iCARE Ambassadors & The Chairman’s Award
To promote Batelco’s values, the iCARE Ambassador Awards were revamped this year to reward team members who are considered as role models to others, through projecting the iCARE values in their daily work and contributing significantly to Batelco’s success. Each month throughout the year, a team member is selected as the iCare Ambassador of the month.
The Chairman’s Award Batelco’s Chairman, Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa continued with his endorsement of the unique and prestigious award, The Chairman’s Award, to select 3 individuals from a pool of 12 team members (including the iCARE Ambassadors) to be honored for their demonstration of the iCARE values and outstanding contributions to Batelco.
The iCare Ambassador and Chairman’s Award programs promoted a great level of engagement and high performance across the organization. The aim is to highlight achievements and accomplishments from a larger pool focusing on team members’ outstanding efforts.
